Our Achievements

Alhamdulillah, over the past two years, Qalam has successfully fulfilled its mission. To date, more than 1,000 writers have completed our courses, and many have formally started their writing journeys. Some are in the process of publishing their books, while others are writing short stories for newspapers. Qalam also provides free writing tips to its community, keeping learners connected to the platform even after completing their courses, and promoting the work of talented writers. So far, we have conducted 14 successful batches, and this journey will continue in 2026 with even greater opportunities and growth.

OUR MISSION

The vision behind Qalam by Arooba Amir is to provide new writers with a supportive platform where they can learn the complete writing journey, from short stories to full-length novels, in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. Our mission is to guide writers at every step, helping them understand the essential elements that bring a story to life, whether it is dialogue writing, scene building, or expressing emotions and feelings. Qalam is here to support aspiring writers so they do not face the same challenges we once did, and to help them refine their skills, build confidence, and bring color and depth to their words on the page.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Arooba Amir is an internationally published writer with six books on a variety of topics. She is well known for her strong research approach, which is reflected in both her writings and her courses.

The vision behind creating QALAM is to help aspiring writers discover their voice and transform their ideas into impactful words. She believes that words hold a unique power within humans—capable of shaping minds and even changing the course of nations’ history.

In addition to being a writer and researcher, Arooba Amir has completed multiple diplomas in business, successfully run her own bookstore, and is currently pursuing a diploma in Physics from the University of Arizona. She has also undertaken several Quranic courses from various institutes and designed multiple short Quran courses through her platform “Taleem Ul Quran.” Currently, she manages her new platform IHSAN, where she explores the scientific dimensions of Quranic verses to understand the vastness of Almighty Allah and His creation.
